HERBERT KAPLAN
Infrared Thermography

Mr. Kaplan was honored as a Fellow of the SPIE Society in 1990. He has authored numerous technical publications and articles on photonics subjects. He recently published a textbook, "Practical Applications of Infrared Thermal Sensing and Imaging Equipment" (SPIE Text Vol. TT13). In addition, he has developed and conducted numerous training seminars and short courses on infrared thermal imaging and electro-optical instrumentation for clients including EPRI and SPIE. These projects included the NMAC "Infrared Thermography Guide" and thermographer training material. Mr. Kaplan has also recently completed Level III Thermal/InfraRed Study Guide for the American Society of Nondestructive Testing.
