DR. YOGESH MEHROTRA
Vice President
Dr. Mehrotra served on two of FAA's ATSRAC Working Groups. He is
a member of the SAE committees on wire and cable. He has chaired
various meeting sessions and presented invited talks at various SAE,
Aging Aircraft, AWIGG, NAVWAG, ATA and other conferences. The thermal
barrier technology developed for NASA - MSFC under his leadership
was showcased by NASA HQ to industry leaders and independent investors.
Prior to co-founding MTC, Dr. Mehrotra was a Senior Staff Engineer
and Assistant to the Vice President of Research at the Perkin-Elmer
Corporation (1981-87). As the Program Manager and Principal Investigator,
Dr. Mehrotra led the industry-university research team for the development
of germanium-cordierites and calcium/strontium-zirconium-phosphates,
new and unique ceramic materials with near-zero thermal expansion
characteristics. He worked extensively with the Air Force, DARPA
and SDIO toward the development of these new materials. A research
paper that Dr. Mehrotra authored was honored with the best technical
paper award of 1986 by Perkin-Elmer. |
